New Roots Farm Incubator
This program provides opportunity for BEGINNING/EMERGING farmers to have access to land, product liability insurance through an umbrella policy for the farm incubator, and business planning and technical training to assist them in their efforts to start a small farm enterprise.

Small Farm Folk School
This program provides folk education and training opportunities. Training centers around biodynamic farming and gardening. In 2025, there were three programs. Field day had 40 participants; farm buds had 38 participants; concordia college volunteer day had 35 participants.

MN dept of ag local food purchase assistance (mda lfpa): this grant project provides funding for purchasing food left over at the end of a farmer's market, or other point of sale, from an emerging farmer in the first 10 years of farming, to include women farmers, bipoc, and native americans.
