Summary of the Filing
Where the work happens
The edison international wildfire prevention and fuel reduction program resulted in 112,707 hours of fire prevention, fuel reduction, and wildland fire fighting support. In addition, $240,000 of equipment for fuel reduction, fire prevention, logistical support was purchased and deployed amongst six of the CCC centers.
The CCC foundation is assisting with the baldwin hills project to manage existing site runoff from the 20-ACRE sports complex and where feasible, reuse stormwater, irrigation, and dry-weather flows, on-site. The foundation has completed an engineering survey from which a topographic base map and a boundary survey were created.
PATHWAYS2CCC foster youth program, funded by the hoag family foundation helps prepare foster youth for joining the CCC by taking them on a short but immersive backpacking trip into the backcountry and then supporting them through the recruitment process and during their career in the CCC.
