Advocacy

Advocates for Family Peace (AFFP) works with survivors of domestic violence to identify their needs, providing free and confidential advocacy services, accompaniment victims to court, provides information and referrals, evaluates future risks, effectively creates safety plans and assists in filing Harassment Restraing Orders and Orders…

SVP Services

AFFP provides one of only two county wide supervised visitation programs which provides a safe option for visitation between non-custodial parents and their children. Usually assigned by the courts, a child-friendly environment is provided for the families supervised by trained SVP staff.

Housing

AFFP provides emergency safe housing in both counties and Independent Transitional Housing in Itasca County. Transitional housing provides temporary (up to 12 months) housing that includes support, guidance and anonymity for survivors of domestic violence after crisis.
