The organization's primary exempt purpose is to educate and advocate for conservative and free market ideas by providing the american people a mechanism to communicate and advocate on the issues that most interest and concern them.

An exempt purpose of the organization is for the correction of ethics and corruption in government. Aff has long advocated for transparency and good governance at all levels of government. Where there are examples of unethical behavior or corruption, aff has been at the forefront of investigations and research into those situations.
