Reducing Regulatory Barriers and Creating Incentives

We review all regulations that effect the cost of housing and try to reduce, waive or eliminate fees and processes that make it difficult to build housing units that are affordable to our residents. We also encourage incentives that will encourage market rate builders to include more affordable units.

Capacity Building and Collaborative Efforts

We work with all housing stakeholders in increase capacity so they are able to take advantage of private, local, state and federal funding opportunities. We also coordinate efforts and create partnerships in order to take advantage of economies of scale as wells as avoiding duplication of services.

Developing Homebuyer/Rental Opportunities

Our goal is to increase the number of units that are affordable to moderate, low and very low income individuals and families. We do this by adding front-end subsidy to assist housing development efforts by increasing production and back-end subsidy to make units more affordable to buyers and renters.
