Civic engagement program--machik continued to grow public education to a broad community of tibetans, chinese and americans about the vital importance of engagement for tibet through a number of innovative initiatives such as machik fest, machik khabda, machk kora, and machik global commencement.

Governance program--we continued to partner with gwu on governance as it relates to research, education and social innovation in tibet as this affects our programs with the tibet govlab. This program continued research to create more understanding of tibetan innovation, community needs and possible ways forward.

Social innovation program--machik first innovated the effort to specifically identify and support social innovators in tibet. We continued to support them by working to connect tibetan innovators to new networks and to global institutions.
