Recycling

Provided stable, successful, full-service recycling in N Central WA. Enhanced our collaborative relationships, our reputation for excellence with recycling buyers, and strong public support. Volumes and visitor counts increased 5% over prior year. Served 13,000 full and part-time residents of all ages and 10s of thousands of visitors.

Education & Outreach

IN-PERSON CONTACT WITH EVERY PERSON ENTERINGRECYCLING CAMPUS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT ALLPROGRAMS. In 2022 we started a three weeklong kids summer camp, ReMake Camp, with the curriculum of building resilience through repair, reuse, and recycling.

Waste Prevention

Conducted a repair caf on the third Saturday of every month in partnership with our local food bank. This program serves approximately 70 community members each month and diverts countless items from going to the landfill.
