Nutrition Program
Nutrition program: DSCC'S and KSC'S nutrition program's include both home delivered meals (meals on wheels) and community dining (senior dining). Home delivered meals (meals on wheels) are packed and delivered each weekday to frail and homebound seniors.
Home Maintenance Program
DSCC'S home maintenance program provides low-cost minor home repairs to seniors. In cases where homes require larger repair services, DSCC offers assessments and provides contractor referrals. In the yard services component of the home maintenance program, groups of volunteers help seniors with various outside chores and yard tasks.
Health & wellness educations and pet food & assistance: health & wellness education is provided with our home delivered meals (meals on wheels) and the community dining program. Each month, older adults receive either in the mail or in-person health & wellness information prepared by a registered dietician in a flyer or presentation…
