GIVING Magazine: Submit Your Ideas

Thank you for your interest in our Cover Feature—the most coveted section in GIVING magazine. We don’t take it lightly, and neither should you.

  • If you’ve made a difference—by listening deeply, leading quietly, or helping others rise—we want to hear how.
  • Is your nonprofit celebrating a big win? We want to hear what it took to get to the goal line, and how you crossed it.
  • Have you challenged the status quo or sparked change in your community? Tell us how you stood your ground, took a risk, or pushed through resistance to make a lasting impact.

Our cover is reserved for those whose work speaks louder than their titles—those who lead with action, not accolades.

The details:

  • Cover Feature is limited to 750 words or less.
  • Please break your story up by inserting between four to six subheads.
  • You must supply a short author bio—250 words or less.
  • You must submit a high-resolution (300 dpi) headshot of the author.
  • We encourage up to six additional high-res photo submissions. These could be of an event, your fundraising team, key figures in your story, donors, or photos that represent your mission.*
