| The Demographic WorkBook examines selected variables in 21 counties in the New York metropolitan region for African Americans, Asian American and Latinos. The variables include population size, ancestry, educational attainment, home ownership, and income. Each variable is broken down at the county and then zip code levels. Comparisons are made between the 1990 and 2000 profiles. The overall objective is to provide a portrait of each of the three ethnic groups by county and to show zip code-level concentrations of population and indices of income and assets. |
